Dolphins Book

Hi Everyone!

First, thanks for joining my newsletter group, the nice messages you send me, and for buying my books. Oh yes, and for the reviews of all my books!!! Those reviews make a big difference in sales, so I really appreciate you taking the time to write reviews. And if you haven’t put your 5 Star Review up for my books, please do so!

I LOVE this new book! It has a great section for kids who are thinking of getting jobs working with dolphins. I hope you love this book!

If you have ideas how I can improve any book, send me a message and let me know. I love writing these books and want them to be the best on Amazon. So, I WILL make the changes you suggest!

I am really excited to let you know that I just wrote a book on dolphins called “Dolphins: A Kids’ Book of Cool Pictures and Amazing Facts About Dolphins” that is available now on Amazon in paperback and Kindle!

I included a few different species of dolphins in the book. They are fascinating animals, especially for someone like me who grew up in the Midwest and only saw the oceans on vacation. And for my friends who live on the Coast, they just loved this book for their kids. I’m so happy to have it availble for everyone to enjoy!

Much love,
John

PS. Again, here is the link to the dolphins book if you’d like it! 🙂

Benefits of Reading to Your Children

Reading out loud with your children has many benefitsHello Fellow Parent,

When I was growing up, my mom always read to us and I think
that’s a HUGE reason I’ve remained so curious and have enjoyed reading so much
as an adult.

So, I took a look at the research on the benefits of reading
to your children. Found some great stuff, and here’s an article I’d like to share with you.

I’ve put the link here for you, but I also wanted to give
you a summary in case you don’t have time to read the whole article.

16 Benefits of Reading To Your Child

Reading to your children helps you bond with them, and lets
you know you love them.

The pleasure of reading gives your children a positive
attitude towards reading as they grow up.

Reading aloud calms kids, especially when they is anxious or
restless.

Reading with your children has many benefitsIt promotes open, fun communication between you and your
child.

Preschool children who have had someone read to them do
better in school when they get there.

Many studies show that students who love learning and do
well in school have parents who read to them.

If you follow along with your finger as you read to your
baby, your child will learn that words represent sounds and concepts and that words
are read from left to write.

Reading to your child results in a longer attention span,
which is an important skill for success.

It builds listening skills and imagination.

Books teach your child thinking skills early on. When you read
to your children, they learn to understand cause and effect. They are also
exposed to logic and thinking in abstract terms.

Books also teach the consequences of actions, and the basics
of what is right and wrong.

When you read together as a family, your child learns early
that reading is fun. When your child grows up, you will not be stressed about
getting him to read because reading will be a pleasurable habit.

Talk to you soon!

Yours in life-long learning,

John
